Aqua Aire® Seamless Wastewater Treatment System

The Aqua Aire® sewage treatment system works like a scaled down version of a municipal treatment plant. It employs an extended aeration activated sludge process which depends primarily upon the use of air from an aeration compressor. Air is introduced into the sewage through two PVC diffuser lines with fiberglass deflectors which deflect the air bubbles breaking them into finer bubbles.

Aqua Aire® is made up of an aeration zone where raw wastewater is treated with diffused air which promotes growth of aerobic organisms in much larger amounts than would normally occur naturally. From the aeration zone treated wastewater enters a clarifier zone from the bottom. No mixing occurs in the quiet zone where solids separate from the liquid and settle to the bottom and reenter the aeration zone. The liquid that separates from the solids in the clarifier continue to flow upwards toward the discharge pipe.

The result of this process is a clear, odorless effluent discharge which meets and exceeds state water quality standards and Class 1 characteristic requirements.

Pictured above is the AA 500-4075. All kinds of models and sizes are available to fit your specific needs whether an individual or a commercial establishment.

With the Aqua Aire® Deflector/Diffuser, air bubbles are dispersed in a wide area as they bounce off of the Deflector Disc on their way to the surface.
